ADIsimRF is an easy-to-use RF signal chain calculator. Cascaded Gain, Noise Figure, IP3 and P1dB as well as total power consumption are calculated. The number of stages can be varied up to a maximum of 15. Additional stages can be inserted at any point in the signal chain and individual stages can be temporarily disabled or deleted. The calculator can be switched between Transmit Mode and Receive Mode where calculations are presented output-referred and input-referred respectively.

ADIsimRF contains an embedded database of most of ADI's RF components. Standard components can be easily accessed using pull-down menus. Device data (IP3, P1dB, Gain and Noise Figure) are stored at various frequency increments. For variable gain devices, data are also stored at various gain increments. Data from the internal database can be overwritten in the calculator panel and custom devices can be created and stored in the database. To assist in the selection of components, component selection tables are also included. ADIsimRF also includes device models from third party vendors for approximately 50 baluns and SAW filters.
